Kohan graduated with First Class Honours from The West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2016, majoring in Classical Performance. A trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist, Kohan’s experience as a musician spans the fields of classical, jazz, contemporary, orchestral, music theatre, conducting, composition and arranging. Recent professional credits include productions of Les Miserables (Cameron Mackintosh), Wicked (Gordon Frost Organisation), The Lion King (Disney Theatrical) and The Sound of Music (GFO/Opera Australia).

Some highlights include being the accompanist for Hugh Jackman at the launch of the Jackman Furness Foundation for the Performing Arts, performing as a soloist at the Perth Concert Hall, being the music director for the Australasian Overtures concert in WA featuring Lisa McCune and performing at ECU’s 25th Year Celebration Concert at Perth Concert Hall. Kohan works regularly as a music director and repetiteur at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
